Import, Store, Sell and Ship
- A Unique Selling Channel
Import: Big Web has the
facilities to import from many world markets. So even if suppliers are
not able to send a full container, Big Web can co-ordinate a part
load and consign to the UK.
Store: Containers are 'de-stuffed'
and the product sorted and loaded onto the online stock control which is
visible worldwide. Where possible, product is stored on pallets at a
highly competitive weekly rate.
Sell: The products are sold
either through Big Web web sites and/or distributed to your existing
customers. This means that an exporter that has some distribution in the
UK or EU can hold stock for their existing customers and sell from the
stock or clear redundant stock held at Big Web - either to trade or
consumers. This is ideal for the introduction of new products or test
marketing where there are established sales for core lines but limited
scope for quick introduction of new product.
Ship: Product that has been
prepared for shipment is now picked and packed into the optimum shipping
unit - 20' container, pallets or carton - and onward shipped to the
customer, whether trade or consumer.
Sales Support: Big Web will act as a
local representative for the exporter and can deal with issues that
arise from the supply chain that may prove difficult to overcome if
conducted direct with the overseas supplier. So a quality issue that has
been identified may where possible be rectified before the product is
released into the supply chain.
